To: Bert Jr., Donna and Janet and families,
So sad to hear of Bert’s passing. We have known Bert since moving to Goose Bay in 1981. The whole community mourns the loss of a very caring, kind, and compassionate man. When a doctor was not available, tell Bert your problem and he knew exactly what to do. I know he was very close to his family and you are going to miss him. Cherish your memories and think of the happy times, today they will bring tears, but one day they will bring a smile and maybe even a chuckle. Think of the respect your dad had from everyone he met. Bert Jr. you are the patriarch of your family now, and you have big shoes to fill, and we are sure you will fill them well.

To the Warr Family, Bert and I were classmates in Pharmacy school. I always enjoyed our times together reminiscing about our days in training in the 60s.
After I retired in 1994, I spent many years travelling to Goose Bay as assistant registrar with the pharmacy liscensing board. After our official business meeting, Bert and I always took time to have a coffee or a meal and chat and chat and chat.
In 2013, we were both awarded our 50 years of Pharmacy Service to the province of Newfoundland and Labrador here in Corner Brook. To have two classmates receive this together was quite an honour. He was an amazing gentleman.
To the Warr family, thanking you all for your continued pharmacy service and sending you my deepest sympathies to a great father, brother, husband and family man.

To Donna, Mick and all the Warr Family,
So sorry to hear of your loved ones passing. May you know that others are thinking of and praying for you in your loss.

Praying the God of all comfort will sustain you today and in the days to come as you mourn the loss of your dear loved one, Bert.
I remember some 45+ years ago when, my dad (Pearce Rideout) moved us as a family to Goose Bay to build a piece on Warr”s Pharmacy for your dad and his brother Charlie and we lived above the Drug Store there. Have many memories from my time spent in Goose Bay and visiting the drug store. Just a week ago I visited the store, will cherish those times.
May you look to God to comfort and sustain you in your time of loss and always.
