It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of the late Mamie Jean Keeping (nee Strickland) announce her sudden passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022 at the age of 61 years. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories are her husband Wayne, father James Strickland, sister Shirley Carter (George), nieces Pamela Carter (Chris) and Gillian Greene (Matt), and great-nieces Hannah Connolly and Sophie Greene, as well as her aunts, uncles, extended family and a host of cousins and friends. All of these she loved and touched deeply. She was predeceased by her mother, Hannah Strickland (Eavis). A celebration of Mamie's life will take place at the Anglican chapel in Ramea on Sunday, May 15th at 2pm. Friends and family are invited to visit Wayne, at his home, at their convenience. Mamie will be remembered for her loving nature, friendly character and cheerful smile.
