It is with saddened hearts that Rose and I send our deepest condolences to Judy, Neil, Brenda, Jeannette, Heather and families. Uncle Don was a beautiful person who loved to be around family and friends. He relished each moment and was never short on entertainment, as he loved to tell a joke or share a story, with each one often elaborated on and portrayed with his unique comical style. Always the gracious host, we will always treasure the great memories we had with my Mom and Rose's parents (Jim and Shirley), while visiting Don, Judy and Neil in California as well as when Mom joined us for our visit to PEI where we also had the added treat of seeing Uncle Rupert and family. Of course, we can not forget the good times had when you visited us at QQ. Always many memories shared and many good laughs had, a great coping mechanism for dealing with all of life's other struggles. Don left few stones unturned as he always seemed to be one step ahead of the next guy. His work ethic was second to none, a trait that is carried on in each of his children, a characteristic they can all be proud of. Although we can not take away the pain of your loss, rest assured he is waiting for everyone with a big hug, a big kiss, and a few new stories. Rest in Peace, Uncle Don.
