My deepest sympathy to each of you and your families on the death of your wonderful mother. Camille was a mother to so many in so many different ways. Her superb hospitality, her incredible generosity, and her daily outreach to others through her phone calls and the sharing of food caused her to be deeply loved.
I was privileged to visit the Bruce household many, many times though the years. In recent times whenever i visited I think the planning for my meals well in advance was a priority. The games of crib were a hi lite each day but, I have to admit, I won very few!
Camille, has lived a long life and this was due, in no small way, to the excellent daily loving care given by Denise.
I feel blessed by the memories I carry of this wonderful woman and I am sorry I can't be present for the funeral.
May Camille rest in peace and may each of you and your families experience deep peace as well.

Dear Denise, Shelia, David, Leo, Anne and Dennis: My deepest sympathy on the passing of your loving mother. I will miss our chats and story telling with each other. My dad shared this story with me. When he and your father were young and single. My dad asked your dad if he`d like to meet some beautiful women. Your dad said yes. My dad led him to the Roche home where he often visited with his mother. Upon entering they found the family on their knees praying the rosary. So they joined them in prayer. After they left the home my dad said: ``so Din what do you think`` Your dad, referring to your mother, said: `` I got my eye on the good looking one.`` The rest is history. Your mother shared a story with me how she and your father went to Woods Island to attend my parents wedding. She told me a very interesting happening which made me giggle, and then we both giggled. (not telling this one here though)
Assumpta, I know how hard it must have been for you and your loving sister to say goodbye to all your siblings. Now you are saying goodbye to her. I`m sure she`ll be looking out for you and all your nieces and nephews and your grand nieces and grand nephews from a place we can only imagine. My love and prayers for you and all of your dear sister Camille`s family and friends.

Sincere sympathy to Sheila, Denise, David, Leo, Anne and Dennis on the death of your truly wonderful Mom, Camille.
We will never forget the hospitality and kindness shown to us by Camille, Din and Family when we lived in Curling/ Cornerbrook in the early 70s.
Din was godfather to our son Jerry born in 1975.
There is surely a party in Heaven as Din and Mom are reunited in their Heavenly Home.
It is a very sad parting and loss to everyone who knew and loved Camille - she will live in our hearts forever.

I was blessed to meet Mrs. Bruce last winter after the fall that put her in the hospital . I spent countless hours around her and I would often refer to her as Humpty Dumpty ! There are not enough nice words to describe what a wonderful Lady she was . I’m saddened to hear of her sudden passing . I never got to visit with her for a cup of her favourite King Cole tea . To the Bruce Family. We are so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I was having a conversation with my Mom the other day about your Mom and how much the families were connected during our childhood days. Interesting that I took out a picture of a birthday party (Linda's Birthday) where you, Denise and Sheila, and the Rockets' were present. As much as we didn't have, our parents made up for it love.
