It was the mid 70's when I came to be a part of the Bowman Family. Myself and Randy hit it off right from the start, and Hilda, who I came to refer to as "Ma", accepted me with an open heart. I quickly realized her heart accepted many friends of Randy and from all walks of life. All were welcomed in her home and in her heart. I remember many times as she entered her home on Robert's Road, pushing open the door in vain as a pile of boots, shoes and sneakers would impede her entering...all belonging to friends of Randy...and that's all that mattered as he was the center of her world. As the years passed into decades, Hilda would become known to as "Mom" to many. And lets not forget Tammy and her Family. Always there for Hilda as well, who was without question like a daughter to Hilda. She loved and touched everybody who came to know her and many more loved her just the same. Her kindness, beautiful smile and her infectious laugh will always stay with me.
Dearest Randy and Stan, find comfort in knowing that she is free of Earthly Burdens and now with the Lord and her Spirit Family. Find peace reflecting upon the fondest of memories, as there are there are many. My dearest and deepest condolences to you, family and friends. Rest in Peace, "Ma".
