It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ernest (Ern) Sterling Pilgrim announce his passing on Friday, July 29, 2022 at the Restorative Care Home in Corner Brook at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sister Florizel Jennings; brother David Pilgrim (Irma Sheppard); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends. He was predeceased by his wife Marie Pilgrim; father Albert Pilgrim; mother Violet Ryan; step-father Charles Ryan; and a large number of brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation as per Ern’s request. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m.  from Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. The funeral service will be live streamed through Fillatre Funeral Homes Ltd. Facebook Page. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Humber United Church Memorial Fund.
