Obituary of Marie Evelyn Wiseman

Marie Wiseman
September 28, 1939 - November 2, 2022

It is with overwhelming sadness that the family of the Late Marie Wiseman announce her sudden passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on November 2, 2022, at the age of 83.

Marie leaves to mourn with endless loving memories, her husband of 62 years, Tony Wiseman; son Todd Wiseman and daughter-in-law Laura; daughter Toni-Marie Wiseman and son-in-law Kenny Butler. She was most proud of her three beautiful granddaughters: Leslie Wiseman (Matt), Emily Wiseman, and Grace Butler.

Marie also had 15 siblings, brothers: Harold, Terry, Craig, Roger, Dennis, and Derek; sisters: Barbara, Betty, Louise, Judy, Diane, Donna, Debbie, Jackie, and the late Patricia.

She is predeceased by her parents Melvin and Violet Sansome and her grandmother Elizabeth Hynes, who raised her from infancy.

Marie loved adventure and fun, studying computer science in her 60's, learning guitar at 64 and taking a bigger leap by ziplining in her 70's.

The family would like to thank unit 3B for their compassion and care and give endless gratitude to Laura Wiseman for always stepping in with her medical care whenever needed.

Respecting Marie's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place Monday, November 7 from 1-3pm, at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake, with a funeral service to follow immediately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Western Regional Hospital Foundation.
