Selma Parsons
November 9, 1953 – January 27, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Selma Parsons of Hampden, NL announce her passing on January 27, 2023, at the age of 69 years.

Selma leaves to mourn her husband of 52 years, Marven Parsons; daughters Nerissa (Chuck) Ropson and Norma (Michelle) Parsons; grandson Logan (Kayla) Ropson; step grandchildren Summer and Alex Cameron; sisters Edna Gavin (Boyd) and Maxine Ropson (Dean); brothers Woodrow Gale (Julie), Mark Gale (Barb), Jeff Gale (Sonya); mother-in-law Beulah Parsons; sisters-in-law Ruth (Dave) Shelton, Leah (Clarence) Davis, Joan (Wayne) Parsons, Donna (Chet) Paul, Ruby (Todd) Wicks, Sonya (Dave) Pearce; brothers-in-law Henry Parsons and Bill (Corie) Parsons;  extended family and a large circle of friends. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Beatrice Gale; father-in-law Dick Parsons; and sister-in-law Lorraine Davis.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Anglican Church of Epiphany in Hampden on January 30, 2023 from the hours of 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place on January 31, 2023 at 2 pm with Rev. Charlene Laing officiating.
