January 15, 1946 – January 29, 2023

It is with broken hearts that the family of the Late Wilson Robert Lodge announce his peaceful passing in his 77^th year on January 29, 2023, surrounded by his wife and children at St. Claire’s Hospital, St. John’s, NL.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 44 years, Marie; his children Melinda (Paul), Danyette (Randy), and Robert (Cassie); his 9 grandchildren Dominic, Hunter, Hannah, Hope, Hillary, Claudia, Meredith, Bruce, and James; brother Baxter (Sadie); sister Patsy (Calvin); brothers-in-law Al (Shirley), Dan (Louise), Floyd (Norma), Calvin (Kathy), and David (Geraldine); sister-in-law Ruth (Frank); a special “Mother” Maime; special cousin Marion (Charlie); an extended family of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins (who were more like brothers and sisters); as well as a large group of close friends.

A Celebration of Life to honour Wilson will be held at his home (8 Third Avenue, Deer Lake) for family and friends on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from the hours of 6 – 9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cormack Furever Feline Rescue @ cormackfureverfelinerescue@hotmail.com or a charity of your choice.
