Annette also leaves to mourn many nieces, nephews, cousins, and their children, countless Michelin in-laws, many dear neighbors, community members in North West River/Sheshatshiu, the Pilipino community in Goose Bay, many friends through her life, career and along her lung transplant journey.

Predeceased by her parents Al and Betty Dale, sister Debbie Decker, father in-law George Michelin.

Annette was born on October 19th, 1959, to Almon and Elizabeth Dale (nee Dinn) in St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Annette made a very positive impact on many people. Her heart and intentions were always for the best and she would try and provide help to anyone that required it. She has made deep connections with people throughout her life and always had a good story to share. She was genuinely interested in the fine details and loved to have a laugh when faced with the toughest situation. She loved her family and was proud to talk about them, at length, to anyone who would listen. Annette spent her career serving the public through social work across Labrador.

Annette will be remembered by those who loved her as a caring woman with a desire to help family and friends. Prior to her unexpected passing, Annette was blessed to have lived a truly full life with the love of her life, and guardian angel, Bernie. For those who knew her well, will also know Annette was an absolute force to be reckoned with and would not back down when she truly believed in something. She loved a good deal and loved to shop. She was generous and she was kind.

Throughout her life she faced hardships head on, persevered and would find a silver lining in any situation presented. Annette faced the greatest challenge of her life in 2018 when she required a double lung transplant. She received this gift of a second life through the incredible team at Toronto General Hospital and follow up care and support through Eastern Health - Dr. Jamie Farrell (& Tara Sesk). Annette’s family would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the medical professionals she encountered along the entire journey from the lung transplant through to final care.
