To Quinn’s family:
I won’t pretend to have known Quinn well, but did become acquainted with him shortly before I left Happy Valley - Goose Bay at the end of June. He showed up at my office on a Sunday afternoon in the midst of a crisis. After supplying him with a cooked dinner we talked for hours as I tried to find him housing for the night. We were successful with that, and I made sure he made it to his destination. He was ever so thankful and gave me one of his famous hugs before leaving my car. A couple of weeks later he showed up at my house with a simple request - he just wanted another hug!
I am saddened to hear of his death, and offer those he loved my deepest condolences. I am aware of the demons he fought, and pray he has found the peace he so desperately sought.

I heard that Quinn, was the man who could solve quantum physics problems while hammering a nail, was as generous with his heart as he was with his bounteous, innovative mind. His zest for life glued us all together and like a beacon in foggy weather, guided us on the right path. We mourn an intelligence extinguished but celebrate a love that continues to burn bright. Deep condolences to our families bonded by him, parting is such sweet sorrow.

Quinn was one of the most polite people you would ever meet. Always polite and apologetic to people even if he never done anything. The few times he slept at the house, he made sure he was quiet. He adored my kids as his own family. Took my daughter and grandson as his niece and nephew. Took Cody as a brother. Calling me auntie mom but when people were around I was aunt Kathy.

Sending my deepest condolences to all family of Quinn. There are many memories I have thought of since hearing of his passing. Growing up next door to him for many years on Roberts, being apart of the same social groups during school or even running into one another around town fairly often he always had a welcoming smile and a hug to greet you with. His presence will be missed by many. rest easy pal, until we meet again.

I have a fond memory of us all going camping down on mud lake road. Quinn was always there ready to help with setting up the tent, preparing firewood and getting the beds ready, he loved family outings, he was an angel who I will love forever.

i got to know quinn from his heart when he got bullied. he got bullied a lot because he was always smarter and bigger then most. he was always just smarter, but he never saw that part because his heart was to big. his heart was so big that he used it on everyone else but himself. we had a lot of life talk’s together, those times we had together were always the best. these times we could talk about whatever, good or bad it didn’t matter. it wasn’t always talking either, we communicated three just listening to music together,
quinn end up being one of my best friends. he taught me what real respect is. especially in ways that i didn’t know , until i met him. he was always worried about everyone else but himself. his heart was so big that he cared so much for everyone else and forgot about himself.
i’m sorry that you didn’t see any light in the end , to get threw this hell/ addiction/life. i sure know addictions
in every way . addiction is real, it is so real that it is a battle. a battle everyday , everyday of your life , even if your sober.
even when you see a new light , that addiction can wipe it away. wipe it away in seconds. so i understand why you didn’t make it to another day . you are missed so much , but i know you are at peace now somehow! “god love your heart”. i do know your an angel now or however that works out there. i do know your not in any darkness anymore because addiction is a very dark place. we always had the best heart to heart talks together.” i love you my friend .” you were also the best pizza maker.

I'm very sorry to hear about Quinn's passing. I knew him for as long as I can remember.
Growing up as a kid, Taylor was a good friend of mine as he used to hangout with my cousin Brian alot. So I used to see quinn whenever I'd hangout at Taylor's. He was always so nice towards me and theres so many memories we had together. I will forever cherish all the times we had together. Fly high Quinn. Quinn is my son ,

I remember all the times we use to play together as kids. Quinn was always there to go on adventures with me or play a board game of some kind.
One time as young kids, Quinn and I was outside playing and we walked down to a nearby creek. I remember throwing rocks into the water with him and just enjoying life. Little did we know everyone was looking for us and when we was found we both got some telling off for being near the water and not staying in eye sight like we was told. Lol!
I remember another weekend Quinn spent the weekend with us and we started a game of monopoly. The game lasted 2 full days! I still don't know who won.
Quinn was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He had a beautiful smile and such a big heart.
I miss you! I seen a butterfly yesterday and I know it was you visiting me because it stayed with me for 20 minutes, and I felt nothing but calmness during that time. I hope the angels know what they have ,and that you watch over everyone. I hope you visit while I sleep and until then I'll cherish the memories and hold you in my heart big cousin. ♥️ love you always. Xoxox

I remember Quinn on Robert's road when he was a young boy. He was a polite nice boy,very nice to have around my children. They were part of a group of kids in that area that looked out for achother. I'm saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family. I will always remember him and the memories of Robert's road.

I’m sitting here thinking about the best memory of Quinn, but this has to be my favourite, I’m thinking he was 2 or 3 when Sherry was in college so I was his babysitter, I would be excited for days Pete was home so I could sleep in lol But this day I woke to Quinn’s little feet running, he ran around the apartment over 100 times, around and around non stop, I came up from the basement so crooked to see Jeff and Pete laughing, but Quinn wasn’t a bit tired lol It wasn’t soon after that I moved out and lost contact with Quinn for some time, A few years ago I seen for the first time at skipper joes I honestly didn’t recognize that handsome boy but he recognized me❤️ he come out of his mothers truck and hugged me so tight, He said Daph u was my favourite babysitter lol I was in shock he could remember. Quinn I’m going to miss ur hugs and ur handsome smile till we meet again I love you my boy

Where to start i have so many memories growing up together.
I guess to start as in saying i'm in total shock and hurt as a good many are. We had a lot of great memories waking up with cartoons and cereal and a few arguments lol, Playing outdoors for hours when it seemed times was much simpler, The good ole days we use to agree on. I will forever cherish your memory, Quinn. You instilled a new hope in me from the day I met you. Your beautiful smile and big brown eyes. I have never met anyone so thankful and grateful. I think of our first FaceTime call after you hadn’t seen me in a few weeks, and the first thing you said was how much healthier and happier I looked. You said the sparkle was coming back into my eyes. Those were the best compliments I’ve ever been given. We have seen each other hurt, and honestly been there to help each other. After getting to know each other’s true personality better and sharing many laughs, you once said “Helen, you’re crazy!!!!” and I said welcome to the real me!! Your sweet soul wanted to rephrase it and say “eccentric is a better word for it.” because you didn’t want to offend me lol! I’ve never met someone like you Quinn. We rooted for each other every day since the day we met. I couldn’t wait to come home from treatment and see you, do all the things we planned to.
