Obituary of Quinn Davis

It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Quinn Davis announce his passing on September 6, 2023, in St. John’s, NL at the age of 29 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughter: Hope Davis (mom-Meagan Messier); his parents: Sherry Davis, Peter Elson (Dad) and Joe Hearn (Dad); his brothers: Taylor Davis, Justin Dix, Tommy Millick Hearn, and Joey Millick Hearn; his sisters: Sarah Hearn and Danielle Hearn; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Quinn was a sweet, gentle, kind, and compassionate person who loved being around family. Quinn was always there to give anyone a helping hand and loved chatting up a storm with anyone. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back. Quinn will be fondly remembered for his quirky smile, grin and his big teddy bear hugs, his love of cooking and music. Quinn was super smart and put 150% into anything he did. Quinn was blessed with two families that loved him dearly and will be forever missed.

Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 11:00-12:00 for family only; 1:00-2:00 for the public.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Fillatre’s Funeral Home starting at 2:00 p.m. with Rev Nellie Thomas officiating. Refreshments to follow the service at Fillatre’s Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers as expressions of sympathy donations may be made to The Newfoundland and Labrador Division of the Canadian Mental Health Association, non-profit.
