To the Guy Family
We just finished watching the celebration service for your Dad from Glenmore Temple. We were blessed as we listened to the many beautiful tributes that were given and the heart warming memories that were shared. He was truly a child of God.
We first met you Mom and Dad as we were attending a Congress weekend in Corner Brook. Those were the days when Cadets and Officers were billeted in private homes. It may have been 1969 or 1970. At any rate, we met two of the finest people on earth. They shared their home, delicious meals, their love and hospitality. We have thought of them many times, but we never got to meet them very often. They both set a good example for us in their love and devotion to The Salvation Army. We thank God for the lives they lived in obedience and surrender to God"s will. We will keep you all in prayer, that God will strengthen you all with His peace and His presence. However, we rejoice because we know that they are with the Lord whom thy loved and faithfully served. May God bless and comfort you all in he days ahead'
