This past July, our family had the pleasure of getting to know Diane. Our Mother was hospitalized, and blessed to be ‘roommates’ with Diane for over 2 weeks. During that time, we learned what a beautiful, special soul she was. Her fight, spirit, and grit could not be compared to her tiny stature… we immediately knew that she was a force! And we learned how much she loved salt n’ vinegar chips!! ;) She kept our Mom going. When Mom struggled to stay positive and keep the faith, Diane carried her along; kept mom laughing, even making her toast and tea, nightly! Eventually, mom was released, and when we left the hospital room that day… we knew we had gained the FRIENDSHIP of the most amazing lady, she touched each of our hearts and we will never forget her, and her special kindness. Diane and my mom continued to stay in touch and it saddens us deeply to learn of her passing. We extend our deepest condolences to her family and friends. Our hearts are heavy right along with yours. Bless you all. “You are free of the illness and fight, Diane. You have undoubtedly earned your Angel Wings”. Xo
