It is with great sadness that the family of the late Diane Power announce her passing on Friday, October 6th, 2023 at Western Long Term Care, Palliative Unit at the age of 49 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband, Gordon, children, Olivia, Gordon Jr. (Nicole) and Joelene; mother-in-law Anna Marie Power, Godchild Brea Stone, Best friend Shirley Gardner (Sissy), her many camping buddies and fur babies. She is predeceased by her father Gerard (Max) Kennedy and father-in-law Gordon Power.
Granting her wishes, cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 8th from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 9th at 10:30 AM from Sacred Heart Parish with Fr. Lee Lainey officiating, interment to take place later.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Nurses, Fourth floor of Western Memorial Hospital with special mention to Joan O’Keefe.
