Chesley, Dorothy, Christine, Alice, Clarissa, Rick and all my other cousins. We were so sad to hear of Aunt Grace's passing, and thankful we all had her in our lives as long as we did. The past couple of days I've been thinking of our times together, when we were all younger and going 'over home' for a visit. Then when I had to go for work, everyone in Parks Canada knew Aunt Grace because she was always my first stop on the way to Red Bay, I have a few pairs of vamps from those visits. Sometimes we would go out to the cemeteries in Forteau and she would guide me around to the final resting spot of our family and friends and we would remember stories, she was well into her 80's on our last trip through there and she was leading the way. What I've been thinking of most though is her connection with family, I think that's the strongest legacy of our 'Roberts' family. When mom was sick she waited for one last visitor who was on her way to see her and then she told the doctors that she was done, she waited to see her sister one last time, Aunt Grace, then mom's work here was done, and now your work here is done too Aunt Grace, and what a beautiful lifetime of work and love it was. We love you, we will miss you and we will honour your memory always. Love Trudy, Michael, Emily and Jonathan
