It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sue Norman announce her passing on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 89 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Alexander Norman; children: Derek Norman, Raymond Norman (Lorie), Marilyn Ruth (Paul) and Denise Blackwood (Calvin); grandchildren: David, Collette, D.J., Stephen, Nicole, Tanya, Mandy, Samantha and Tyler; as well as great-grandchildren; sisters Verna Gillam and Gloria Blanchard, brothers Norm Parsons and Cordell Parsons; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents George and Lillian Parsons, sisters Olive, Gertie, Mona, Shirley, Catherine and Neta, brother Sam.  A special thank you to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion.  Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 12 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Curling with Archdeacon David Taylor officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
