A beautiful lady — a second Mother to me for a short time ,while I mourned my own mother as a young boy. Your kindness, concern and love was always appreciated, thought of ,and will never be forgotten.
To the family: What a beautiful treasure you all had in your Mom !! I have always thought of her often. Valda and I look forward to that paradise when Jehovah calls his loved people back. What a Grand Resurrection that will be !! This Wonderful Sister will come back !,

To my cousins Rick, Wayne, Terry, Carl and Cindy. Our sincere condolences. I have known your Mom, my Aunt Phyllis all my life. She was always known to be a kind hospitable person. Our fondest memories were when we would come to visit your family in Deer Lake, she always had a warm welcoming smile. We were always welcome at her table! She would entertain us as she sang skipping around the kitchen prepaying her famous homemade fries and chocolate cake which were to die for for. Aunt Phyllis firmly believed in the Bibles promise in John 5:28, 29 to see our dead loved ones resurrected, brought back to life on earth; Job 33:25 enjoy good health and youthful energy; Psalm 37:11, 29 live forever in complete peace on earth.
Soon according to Jesus promise we will see her again. Jesus referred to death as sleep; so she is just taking a short nap soon to be awakened to a beautiful paradise. We can’t imagine how wonderful a time that will be when we are reunited with her again. She will be resurrected as a healthy young lady without a blemish along with the love of her life, her husband Uncle Will Drover. We look forward to seeing her again along with many other of our loved ones. Keeping you in our prayers, trusting that Jehovah will give you the strength to cope in your hour of need. Phyllis has many wonderful qualities She was hospitable, generous and she loved her family very much. Phyllis loved worshiping Jehovah and always had a thorough share in the ministry.
I am grateful to her for the wonderful son that she raised. She gave me a precious gift, a wonderful husband and now a wonderful son. We look forward to seeing her

Sending heartfelt condolences to each member of the family on the passing of your dear Mom. She indeed was a lovely lady who holds many memories of my childhood and early years as neighbours. She indeed was also a friend to my grandmother as her neighbour on Middle Road, sharing many a story as she tended to her garden.
I remember her as a very active lady taking care of her family especially after the loss of her husband.

We were so sorry to hear of Aunt Phyllis' passing. She was such a bright light, always young, interested and curious. She liked people and spoke genuinely positively about others, especially her family. Her memory was very sharp. We really enjoyed our visit with her last year. Bill and I were so very sad to hear of the passing of Aunt Phyllis but happy that she is now with Uncle Will. She and Uncle Will always welcomed us with love and affection when we would visit them in the summers when we would travel across the Province with our boys. The boys loved running around in the back garden and sitting to a lovely meal prepared by Aunt Phyllis. I always thought she was the ultimate wife and mother, a woman of conviction who loved her husband and children. She was a wonderful source of inspiration with regards to her family and her faith. I'm Roy Whalen ( Anna's brother). I also have fond memories of the Drovers that has lasted over 60 years. I remember when they came to Middle Road. Wayne and I were in the same class all through school and we played together.
When mother was sick, Mrs Drover was there for her. After she died, father and I were alone and he spent many evenings at Drovers chatting to Bill and Phyllis. I was there also, and we were always welcome. A place of refuge during difficult times. She earned our respect way back in the early 60's and held it until she died. Rest in peace, Mrs. Drover.

Mrs. Drover was a wonderfully beautiful person both inside and out. She became good friends with my mother when she moved to Middle Road just a few houses down the street from us. When my mother became ill and went back to Scotland to go in a sanitorium, Mrs. Drover kind of took ownership of me and I knew I could go to her house for comfort at any time. I didn't have to tell her why I was there, she just knew. When my mother died a year later, Mrs. Drover was there for me. These are my fondest memories of this wonderful lady.
I didn't visit her regularly over the years, but I thought of her often. It was just a couple of days ago that I was wondering about her. We were always happy to see each other whenever we met. Last time I saw her was a couple of years ago when I brought her some flowers as a thank you. It was a small tribute to her kindness, but it came from the heart.
To all her family, my heart hurts along with yours.
