Gone But Not Forgotten

Gary Gerald Reid – Jackson’s Arm, NL
January 20, 1952 – April 25^th 2024

It is with sadness that the family of the late Gary Gerald Reid announce his passing on April 25, 2024, at the age of 72 years.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories,  his wife Vivian (Hutchings); sons David (Sheila), Tony (Leanne), and Danny (Tina); daughter Nancy (Kerry); grandchildren Autumn, Carter, Willow, Wynn, Nicholas, Colin, Drake, Ethan, and Jade; brothers Tony (Carmelita) and Brian (Diane); sisters Joyce Osmond, Doreen Reid (Dave), and Debbie House (Roger); mother-in-law Anne Thistle; brothers-in-law David Hutchings (Norma), John Hutchings (Mary), and Paul Hutchings; sisters-in-law Carol Ann Coombs, and Lorraine Abbott (Ken); as well as many special nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Gary was predeceased by his parents Randolph and Mae Reid; fathers-in-law Kevin Hutchings and Earl Thistle; brothers-in-law Allan Osmond and Thomas Coombs; and sister-in-law Shelly Pyatt.

A special thank you to all doctors and nurses at Western Memorial Regional Hospital and Palliative Care, who were so helpful and caring.

A celebration of life and interment of ashes will be announced at a later date. Donations can be made in honour of Gary to the Kidney Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Canadian Diabetes Association.
