In Loving Memory of Catherine (Katie) Irene Biggin

Katie, 57 a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2024.  Born on October 27, 1966, in Fishot Island, Newfoundland and Labrador.  Katie's life was a testament to love, laughter and dedication to her family and friends.

Katie was full of life and loved everyone she met.  She raised her family with unconditional love, making a lasting impression on everyone with her kindness and generosity.  Her home was always open to friends, family and even strangers, offering a warm and welcoming place to all.  She had an extraordinary gift for finding the good in people and her compassionate spirit touched the lives of so many.

Katie had a heart full of love and was always there to lend a hand, share a kind word or offer comfort when it was needed.  Her strength, generosity and belief in the goodness of others made her a cornerstone in the lives of many.  Katie made everyone feel like they belonged and her love had no limits.  Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to shine through those who knew and loved her.

Katie's legacy of love, lives on with her husband of 38 years, Rod and their two children, Michael (Brandon) and Mark (Julia).  Her grandchildren, Harper, Carter, Lincoln and new arrival expected in November 2024, will carry forward her warmth and joy, surrounded by the stories and memories that shaped their lives.

Also leaving to mourn are her father Carl (Jean); brothers Damien (Leah), Noel (Leigh), Trevor (Mary) and Brad (Rebecca); sisters Nicole (Mike) and Tracey (Brian).  She will also be remembered by her in-laws:  Kirby (Jeanann), Naomi (Dennis),  Winnie (Barry), Jerry, and Tobi.  Much loved nephews and nieces; Chad (Lisa), Mike (Tinika), Alicia, Jeffery (Katelun), Johanne (Sheldon), Kyle, Kallie, Vicki (Kerry), Joey (Keisha) and Ashlyn, Austin, Andrew, Kristie, Eddie, Lilly, Chantel (Joseph), Crystal (Johnathan), Gloria, Jason, Kaitlyn, Heather, Megan and Kayden.
