Fern, Krista, Curtis & Biggin Family:
Like everyone, I am still in shock at the news of Chris's death. In our humanity, there are so many things in life that just doesn't make sense. So we trust. We trust the One who we know loves us deeply and is always there when life is spinning out of our control. We trust the One who knows the beginning from the end and promises to work all things for our good....even the most earthshaking situations. We trust the One whom Chris lived to serve and eventually spend eternity with. That time has come a lot sooner than we had wanted, causing us to feel the sting of death for a time. In this time, know that there are many who are here to support you with love and prayer until the day comes when you can confidently say, "Oh death, where is your sting? Oh grave, where is your victory?" Because of the beautiful Hope we hold, the steadfast Hope Chris lived out each day, we know he isn't swallowed by death....he's more alive than he's ever been....waiting for us to join him for eternity with our amazing Father!
Sending so much love today and will continue to pray for God's love, strength and peace to surround and carry you in the coming days. Chris was very special to us....as are you. We will always cherish our friendship and time together. Andrew will never forget 'Uncle Chris.'
I'm willing to bet he and Steve have had a few chats and laughs already. Happy reunions await....cling to that promise!
Love & Prayers,
Stephanie & Andrew
