Obituary of Christopher Guy Biggin

May 1, 1956 - November 4, 2024

It is with utmost sadness the family of the late Christopher Guy Biggin of Port Saunders, NL  announce his sudden passing on November 4, 2024 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, at the age of 68 years.  

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his Wife Fern of 43 years; Daughter Krista (Darrick) - Katelyn, Andrew and Son Curtis (Gizelle) - Beau, Jude;  Siblings:  Jane (Lawrence), Nora (Harvey), Grace, Clyde, Terry (Evelyn), James (Lillian), Kay (Lorne), Velda (Robert), Quinn and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Christopher is predeceased by his beloved Parents George and Laura Biggin, Brother Reginald and Sister Sherry.

Chris 68, a loving husband and father passed away unexpectedly. He was born in Spirity Cove, NL on May 1, 1956.  He lived life generously, sharing all that he had with others. Chris loved God first and foremost. He dedicated his life to following Jesus' words and footsteps.  He loved deeply and cared for everybody.  Nobody was a stranger with Chris.  His passion for God and loving others ran deep.  He set an example of  what the heart of God looks like and invited others to follow.  

Chris always had time to sit, chat, listen and connect with others.  He loved to laugh and share stories.  He enjoyed a cup of coffee or tea and lively conversation.  His door was always open.  Chris served the community and the church.  He was on the council, development committee, manor commitee and church board.  He used his business to meet the needs of others.  The impact of his life runs far and deep.  He lived his life taking care of others, a legacy after his Mother's own footsteps.  God was his center and serving others was his purpose.  Chris loved his family.  They were his world, his pride, his joy. He will be truly missed by many.

Visitations:  Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 7pm - 9pm @ Good Tidings Pentecostal Assembly, Port Saunders, NL Friday, November 8, 2024 from 2pm - 4pm with Family Service @ 7pm.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 @ 1pm, Good Tidings Pentecostal Assembly, Port Saunders, NL, Pastor Aaron Dillon and Pastor George Coles officiating.
