Martin my friend, I have nothing but fond memories of you. Your work ethic and kindness was always above and beyond. Even when I was very young, hanging out with Rory and Dave you always treated me so good. I certainly can recalled our Sundays together on the farm when I was transferred to Goose Bay in 2002. Having a fire to heat water in a bathtub to scrape the hair off the pigs or the time we caught the bank on fire and had to run around looking for buckets that had rain water in them to put it out were two memories I'll never forget. There are so many good memories and I can't think of a better person to have shared them with. I'm a better person to have known you. Rest in peace my friend. Larry

I remember riding back and forth to the farm in you old red truck. Might not have been much to look at but you keep it going. You never got rid of anything always finding a use for everything and if not you had a big back yard to hide it in. :) I didn't know much about farming or raising animals but I seen how much you loved doing it and I started see why before I left. You can go to work every day and come home feeling like you accomplished something. Nothing feels better though then taking a little seed, putting in the ground with no protection and only you there to make sure it survives. Watching it grow to its full potential, knowing that your had a part to pay in its growth. Whether it was in on the farm, in your backyard, or the basement you never let nothing stop you from being more life and colors to this world.

Pop bh'y this don't seem real. I love you and miss you so much already. I'll always hold dear all those amazing memories of you teaching me to drive the tractor, plant potatoes, potatoes and more potatoes lol, and then digging it all up. The farm was your passion that we all had to help out with. I'd gladly go dig more vegetables if it meant I could get more time with you. You loved me so completely and unconditionally, I was Pops girl. I will always be Pops first girl. I love you, you old fart.-Krissy
