Obituary of Martin Burton

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Martin Abner Burton announce his passing on January 10^th, 2025, at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s, NL at the age of 82.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his Wife: Eileen; Sons: Rory (Heather), Dave (Pauline), & Todd (Audrey); Daddy’s only girl: Lori-Anne (Todd); Grandchildren: Krissy (Tim), Jordon (Rachael), John, Tanner (Victoria), Christopher, Cole (Alysiah), Cody (Sarah), Kendall (Connor), Kordell, Abby, Josh, & Antoinette; Great-Grandchildren: Kerstian (Luke), Kyleigh, & Cohen; Great-Great-Grandchildren: Lilly, Chloe, & Hayley; Daughters-in-law: Monica Curl, Tammy Hickey, & Tammy Burton; and Special Niece: Loretta (Dwane). As well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Martin was predeceased by his Parents: Martin & Edith; Brother: Samuel; and Sisters: Lily & Annie.

Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Tuesday, January 14^th between the hours of 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm as well as on Wednesday, January 15^th from 2:00-4:00pm with a reception to follow at the Kinsmen Community Center, Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
