It is with great sadness that the family of the late Martin Abner Burton announce his passing on January 10th, 2025, at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s, NL at the age of 82.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his Wife: Eileen; Sons: Rory (Heather), Dave (Pauline), & Todd (Audrey); Daddy’s only girl: Lori-Anne (Todd); Grandchildren: Krissy (Tim), Jordon (Rachael), John, Tanner (Victoria), Christopher, Cole (Alysiah), Cody (Sarah), Kendall (Connor), Kordell, Abby, Josh, & Antoinette; Great-Grandchildren: Kerstian (Luke), Kyleigh, & Cohen; Great-Great-Grandchildren: Lilly, Chloe, & Hayley; Daughters-in-law: Monica Curl, Tammy Hickey, & Tammy Burton; and Special Niece: Loretta (Dwane). As well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Martin was predeceased by his Parents: Martin & Edith; Brother: Samuel; and Sisters: Lily & Annie.

Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Tuesday, January 14th between the hours of 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm as well as on Wednesday, January 15th from 2:00-4:00pm with a reception to follow at the Kinsmen Community Center, Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made directly to the family.
