Hi Uncle Ray - my deepest sympathies go out to you and your family in the passing of Aunt Gertie. They say "All good things must come to an end". That must have come from a pessimist because we have a hope of much better things to come that will never end. Heather and I truly enjoyed the time we got to spend and the "breaking of bread" with you and Aunt Gertie on our visits whenever we had opportunity to visit NL. It was a special blessing to see the family as well on some of those visits. Aunt Gertie always had a regal air about her that was like a breath of fresh air. She will truly be missed. All the best to you and the family. She may be gone physically but the memories you can cherish still. God bless you all.

Visiting with Aunt Gertie and Uncle Ray over the years has been one of the important reasons for visiting Deer Lake. Dear Lake meant Aunt Gertie and Uncle Ray. Getting to visit with the rest of the family was a part of that. It was always a warm loving place to go.
My heart is with you Uncle Ray. I love you. God bless you and keep you here on earth until such time when you meet her again in heaven

As youth and you g adults we looked to see fine outstanding Christians to emulate and Mrs Gertie White was such a lady.
