It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gertie White (nee Durdle)announce her passing on Thursday Nov 21, 2019 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 85 years, She leaves to mourn with loving memories her Husband Raymond White; daughters -  Diann Kerfont, Darlene Ball, Lorna White (Winston), Tina Legge (Mike); daughter-in-law - Lavern White,  sons -  Keith White & Jeff White, sons-in-law -Dave Legge & Wayne Anderson; her 14 beloved  grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sisters - Minetta ( Scott) Pelley, Joy Gordon, Margaret (Ron) McDonald, Melva (Graham) Field, brothers - Sam (Pat) Durdle, Winston ( Rachael) Durdle, Carson (Audrey) Durdle, Barry (Violet) Durdle,  as well as a large circle of neices, nephews,cousins, friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by her daughter Linda Anderson, son Carl White, son-in-law Dennis Kerfont, mother Lilly Durdle, father Walter Durdle, stepmother Edna Durdle, brother Jack Durdle and sister Annie Porter.  Visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home 10 Clinic Drive Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Nov 23, 2019 at 3 pm from Emmanuel Pentecostal Church 45 Bennett Avenue, Deer Lake with Pastor Jeffrey White officiating.  As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
