Met Thelma when we were setting up clinics for WOMEN'S Health exams. Thelma was so helpful with this new initiative and did everything she could to facilitate the clinics. On this International Women's Day I want to thank you Thelma for your help and your beautiful smile. We became friends and I will remember our friendly chats on the Glynmill Inn Walking trail. Dear David and Family,
It's Nathalie (Meagher) Megann here. I am so sad to hear of Thelma's passing. She was a big part of my early childhood, having been my first babysitter and a close friend to our family. I remember when she started dating Dave, attending her beautiful wedding, Red the dog and then later babysitting the boys. I l loved doing that.
I remember my sister, Christine, being afraid of David's beard when she was very little and running away to hide.
Having lived next door to the Palmers was a blessing for our whole family. Visiting with Aunt Hazel and Uncle Frank - I have lots of photos from those early years and have wonderful memories.
Thelma was a beautiful and kind person. She will always have a special place in my heart. My sincerest condolences.

I have many fond memories of visiting your home in Corner Brook as a child, of spending time with my cousins, and of the delicious strawberries Aunt Thelma would give us from her garden.
