Obituary of David Joseph Doucette

Please share a memory of David to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
David Joseph Doucette September 14, 1956 – March 22, 2020 R.I.P. For the second time, we sadly announce the untimely death of yet another brother, David Joseph Doucette. On the evening of March 22, 2020, we lost our beloved Dave, at home in Corner Brook, Newfoundland after a long illness at the very young age of 63 years. Dave was always a proud graduate of Memorial University where he earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science. We lost a son, a brother, an uncle and a true friend who will never be replaced. The world was a better place with him in it. When we tally the good and the bad in Dave’s life, we know he will spend eternity inventing new apps to make heaven more efficient. Dave had no children. He was predeceased by his father, Bernard (March 8, 1994) and older brother Dan (December 2, 2014). Dave is survived by his Mother, Mary Irene, brother Doug (Giovanna), brother Derek (Helen), sister Brenda (Bob) and his nieces Stefani (Kevin), Christina (Lucas) and Sarah (Nick) and numerous other friends and family. Arrangements, including the cremation, will take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home. A memorial service will be announced after the hysteria caused by the coronavirus. Godspeed! We love you and you’re always in our hearts and minds. The Family.
