Uncle Leymond was a kind, gentle man. I remember his smile, and warm hugs. One specific memory I have is as a young child, Uncle Leymond was building cupboards for Grandma & Grandpa. Of course I wanted to check out the new kitchen being built, but Grandma didn't want us kids around the power tools. I got sawdust on my socks, Uncle Leymond was quick to point out "If your Grandmudder gets mad you come tell Uncle Lee!". I was extremely privileged to have some many loving Aunts & Uncles around me as a child, my Uncle Lee held a special place in my heart because of his gentle nature. When I was 6 years old, we traveled from Baie Verte to Corner Brook so I could have my tonsils removed. I vividly remember being snuggled between Aunt Addy & Uncle Lee on the couch, with a bag of lollipops. To which they both said "You can have whatever you wants my lovey". How lucky I am to have these memories, and how lucky we are as a family to share this kind of compassion & love for one another. My prayer for Aunt Addy, Darrin, Maxine, Tracey and their families, is that the loving memories we have of Uncle Leymond, will bring you peace in the days ahead. My heart is there with you all. All my love, Stephanie
