October 13, 1940 – April 8, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leyman George Osmond announce is passing on Wednesday, April 8th, 2020 at his residence at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his Wife Adelaide; Children: Maxine Park (Edward), Darrin Osmond (Amanda), Tracy Park (Gilbert); five Grandchildren: Brian, Patricia (Shannon), Rocky (Vanessa), Shenise (Greg) and Victoria (Andrew); seven great grandchildren: Kyle (Julia), Lucas, Zoey, Blake, Emma, Ethan and Tessa; Sisters and Brothers: Emily Mary Guy (Don), Leah Gale, Lillian Bailey (Eric), Roderick Osmond (Alma), Malcolm (Roy) Osmond (Gail), Calvin Osmond (Linda), Ford Osmond (Harriett) and Duke Osmond (Joanne); Brothers-in-law: Tom White (Rowena), Calvin White (Kay), Dave White (Geraldine), very good friend Warren Lovell; family pet Trexter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Predeceased by parents Robert and Dorcas, Mother and Father in law Melina and Felix White; Brother Clifford, In-Laws Bride, Reuben and John; as well special aunts and uncles Chesley and Eva Ricketts, Susan Ricketts and other family members. The family would like extend a very warm and special Thank you to Dr. Slipp, Dr. Brazil and Community Health Nurses Karla and Elaina; your attentiveness and care toward our Dad is heartfelt and so appreciated.
Due to COVID-19 Government restrictions, there will be a private family viewing for immediate family only and private burial at the Anglican cemetery in McIver's.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
