A Tribute to a Great Man, James Learning
July 14, 1938 – April 16, 2020
Although I have never met Mr. Learning I have listened to him many times on the radio and TV shows, fighting for the people and the land that he loved.
Jim reminded me of myself, always fighting for what I call the underdog or the little people who are not able to speak for themselves and was left behind by the elite of our society who most times always thought they were right and as most of us know, most times they were wrong.
The collapse of the cod fishery and Muskrat Falls, 2 prime examples which still has a big impact and will for a long time on the people who Jim represented. He was a leader and a fighter for his people and for what he believed in, and his people are much better for what he has done.

To Roberta, partner-in-crime and the rest of Jim’s family, very sad to hear of Jim’s passing, he was a man I had great admiration for and will not ever forget.
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn his passing and celebrate his life
Jim’s deeds must not be forgotten and others must continue the fight so that the little people will enjoy the benefits we all deserve.
May he rest in Peace!
