It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved son, brother, father and uncle, Asa Maurice Kelly on June 6, 2020 at the age of 47 years. Asa leaves to mourn with loving memories his parents Angeline & Maurice; children: Zachary & Zoe; sister Nadia; niece & nephew: Faith & Owen Daley; a sister by heart Annette Patey; the mother of his children Karen; mother and father-in-law Melinda & Ross Hann; brother-in-law Keith (Kelly) Hann; nephews: Daniel (Tammy), Joey, Randy, and great niece Maddison; special family members: Shirley Marshalok, Kim Cornick, Kristopher Gould, Maisie Patey; great aunt Ida Eastman; aunts: Greta (Chesley) Parsons, Ida (Patrick) Gould, Caroline (Newman) Sinnicks; uncles: Andrew (Marilyn) Hynes, Raymond Hynes, Emanuel (Joan) Hynes, Paul (Debbie) Hynes, George (Hazareth) Kelly and Matthew (Bertha) Kelly; a large circle of cousins, friends and his best friend/companion/partner-in-crime Annie dog. Asa was predeceased by his grandparents: Ida & Emanuel Hynes, Millicent & Owen Kelly; great uncle Jimmy Kelly; aunts: Hilda (Edmund) Hynes, Elizabeth Hynes, Evelyn Campbell, Delphine (Leonard) Hanson, Harriett Fenmore; uncles: Michael (Suzanne) Kelly, Owen Kelly, James Kelly, Charles Hynes, Stedman Hynes, John Hynes, Jake Gould; cousin Devon Schultz-Hynes; special friends: Ross Patey and Frank Marshalok. Asa was an avid hunter whos' love for his children and family was beyond measure. He always had a smile and a hug for everyone. Once Asa called you friend, you were his friend for life and he would do anything for you. Asa had lived in Fort McMurray for the past twenty years and had a large circle of friends of whom he often spoke. Poem: Don't cry for me, I'm not gone. My soul is at rest, my heart lives on.
