Sherry-Lynn Loveridge (Sissy)
(Nee Buckle)
November 19, 1961 – July 30, 2020
Corner Brook, NL
It is with profound shock and disbelief that the family of the late Sherry-Lynn Loveridge announce her sudden passing on Thursday, July 30th at Western memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 58 years. Predeceased by her father Llewlyn Buckle and her In-Laws: Joyce and Laurie Loveridge. She is survived by her loving husband Gary and fur baby Izzy; mother Bernice Buckle; brother, Joe Buckle (Christine), her nephews and godsons: A.J. and Jake (Jesse) and their two children Abby and Henry; her sister Patty Lou Clancy (Cyril) and her nephews and Godsons; Zack and Liam, who she was a second Mom to; her sisters-in-law Janice Dubois (Paul), nieces Emily and Rebecca; Lois Sullivan (Troy), nieces Meghan and Kate. By her nephews she was affectionately known as Sis, Sissy or Aunt Sissy, by her nieces Aunt Sherry. But no matter what she answered to, the consistent thing she shared was her caring, compassion, love and her inevitable desire to give advice, support them and treat them as her own and spoil them rotten. Sherry had a huge personality, she was kind, giving, generous, compassionate and witty. She loved to share a laugh, crack a joke or teach you to craft. She will be greatly missed by all who crossed her path during her nursing career or during her crafting career, because she and Gary never missed a craft fair. She will be especially missed by her group of friends from the Bonko Babes and the Friday night Happy Hour Hotties; known for their hot flashes not their looks, where she shared lots of laughs, jokes and drinks. “For Now” Dear Sister, this is not a goodbye as you will never be gone. You have left such an impact on those you have embraced. You will live in our hearts and soul. So, instead it’s FOR NOW!! For Now we have to accept what we can’t change. We have to appreciate the moments we had with you and live each day to the fullest!!! So until we meet again!! It’s FOR NOW!!
Due to Covid 19 Restrictions, there will be a private family Service from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 5th followed by Inurnment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA, Corner Brook chapter.
